WEIB 106.3 Smooth FM honors exemplary ladies of distinction ranging from women in leadership to history makers all from the Pioneer Valley: It’s only right that we start off this remarkable month by highlighting the President, Owner, and General Manager of WEIB 106.3 Smooth FM Mrs. Carol Moore-Cutting.
This proud life member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated is a graduate from the famed HBCU TUSKEGEE UNIVERSITY in Alabama and received her master's degree in Community Leadership and Development from Springfield College.
After 15 years of comparative hearings, she was granted a license by the FCC to build and operate WEIB FM. It is independent and currently the only locally owned commercial FM radio station in the Greater Springfield market, the only female-owned FM radio station in Massachusetts, and the only African American-owned AM or FM radio station in all of New England.
