Community Outreach is extremely important to us here at WEIB. That is why we strive to recognize the "Hometown Heroes" and "Incredible Kids" making strides in and for our community every day.

WEIB - 106.3 Smooth FM is a huge supporter of the American Heart Association and it's upcoming  "Go Red For Women" initiatives. See attached Go Red Fact sheet , talk about it and spread the word.

  On Friday, February 8, 2013 at the Log Cabin in Holyoke,  is the 4th Annual Western Mass Go Red for Women Luncheon
 from 9:30 am - 2 pm 
with informative speakers and Breakout Sessions. 
 Heart disease is the number one killer of women and more deadly than all forms of cancer combined.

A schedule of local charitable golf tournaments
Sept. 24 - The Holyoke Medical Center will be hosting their 24th annual "Golf Fore Health" at either Springfield Country Club, West Springfield or The Orchards Golf Club, Hadley in a scrambled format. Registration ends Sept. 12, 2012 with shotgun start at noon. A post-tournament cocktail party and          auction will be held at the Springfield Country Club. Sept. 29 - Friends of the Springfield Vet Center will be hosting their 1st annual golf tournament. The tourney will be located at the Westover Municipal Golf Course in Chicopee, MA with a shotgun start at 8:00am. The day's events will include golf, cart, lunch, and prizes.
